I surmised that something is one of the dlls or the install process wiped out something that WDS needs to index Outlook. Opinion: I think what happened is that I had to install Visio 2003 sometime in the past after Office 2007 was installed. Incidentally, my computer is XP 圆4-SP2 with Office 2007 Ultimate with the latest updates. Please post back if it works or does not work. Step 1 of this really sucks, but this was the only way I found to fix the weird indexing issue without rebuilding my computer from scratch.
